Prior to Databarracks, Tom spent many years in book manufacturing spending the last few managing one of the U.K.’s largest independent manufacturing units. In 2001 Tom was introduced to Peter and Oliver who were looking for a partner who could take on the day to day financial management of the company. Tom, coincidentally having just suffered a damaging data loss was immediately struck by the backup as a service concept and agreed to join the board.
On a day to day basis Tom shapes the companies direction alongside Peter and Oliver and is responsible for ensuring that our investment in the best possible technologies means that Databarracks is profitable while at the same time offers the best possible pricing for the customers who use our services. Tom’s vision and financial awareness are the cornerstone of Databarracks continued success and integral to our ability to continue to be market innovators in creating easy and forward thinking pricing models for our customers.
During his free time, Tom is a keen sportsman and guitar player.
