Asigra™ Televaulting™ is agentless, multi-site backup/recovery software that combines utility service provisioning with a disk-based WAN-optimized architecture to shatter the limitations of traditional distributed-backup software. Asigra’s unique agentless architecture does not require agents/clients to be installed on target machines.

Asigra Televaulting basic software components:

• Televaulting DS-System Software – The DS-System is the software for the disk-based storage repository for backup data transmitted from DS-Client(s). A single DS-System license can be used to provide backup/restore services to multiple customers or a single customer exclusively (one-to-many; one-to-one). The DS-System is typically located in a secure offsite facility. The storage architecture for the DS-System may be DAS, NAS, or SAN.



• Agentless Televaulting DS-Client Software – The DS-Client is designed to accommodate a range of heterogeneous network backup requirements, and transmits data efficiently and securely to the DS-System via an IP WAN offsite. The DS-Client adopts the LAN’s existing security infrastructure to access data for backup. Unlimited DS-Clients are included with the DS-System and customers may install as many or few as are required. The DS-Client may run on an existing machine or on a dedicated resource and can backup a whole LAN.
