Asigra Inc, the leader in agentless backup and recovery
software, has announced further benefits generated by data
de-duplication, one of the features of Asigra's software, used
by Databarracks.
Data-duplication
is part of the
information lifecycle management provided by
Arxcis, and ensures that redundant data is eliminated before it
is transferred to secure storage. By keeping only unique data,
the software ensures efficient storage, keeping capacity to a a
minimum and also improving traffic which is translated in power
usage reduction.
