As well as using the leading online
backup software, our storage systems and backup servers have been
designed to be the best. At every point in our system development,
Databarracks have used the best possible hardware to create a
system which is available to our customers at all times.
Both our hardware and our underlying storage infrastructure are
built with resilience at the forefront. There are no single points
of failure in any of our hardware or storage and no cost has been
spared to ensure that your data is stored in the best possible
environment, giving us 99.99% system availability in the past five
years of operation.
We have a continuing system expansion and development program in
place meaning that as technology moves on so too will the
infrastructure that powers our customers' data storage.
At the heart of the managed backup service from
Databarracks lies our hardware infrastructure. We use a combination
of N+1 Nodes for our backup applications and replication and
clustering services for the rest of our infrastructure and
storage.

Online Backup Software
One of the things that make Databarracks different is our
constant investment and belief in the underlying development of our
storage technology.
Each of our SANs is configured in a RAID5 configuration for
additional redundancy and then further replicated to a secondary
(slave) SAN stored in a separate location within our data centre at
Ash in Kent. Our SAN infrastructure gives us the scalability and
capacity that we need to manage the high volumes of data and the
constant daily changes to it that go on. Unlike other storage
infrastructures, Databarracks's has been designed so that we are
able to implement and configure Terabytes of new storage to our
pool in a matter of minutes, with no interruption of service to our
customers. We are able to add or remove storage and run maintenance
on our infrastructure with no impact on our customers ability to
backup and restore data.
