PlateSpin: Leverages virtual infrastructure to
protect both physical and virtual environments.
PlateSpin allows for single click testing and failover, allowing
the user to take a virtual snapshot of the recovery workload, power
it on within a private internal network and quickly validate the
disaster recovery plan. Developed from the ground up around ease of
use, PlateSpin enables IT disaster recovery to be as quick, simple
and effective as possible.
PlateSpin works effectively for both physical and
virtual server workloads and is either appliance or software
based.
PlateSpin allows for the protection, instant failover and
testing of physical and virtual workloads across physical and
virtual environments running Windows, Suse and RedHat operating
systems. Currently PlateSpin Forge and Protect supports ESX and
ESXi Hyper-Visors and allows for a single web based view of
replication processes across both local and remote sites.
