Veeam Company Information

Veeam was founded in 2006 by the team behind Aelita. They have grown quickly to over 16,000 customers and are adding to this at a rate of over 700 new customers per week. They are a global company with headquarters in the UK, US and Australia.

Veeam Backup and Replication is designed for virtual machines and is compatible with both VMware and Hyper-V. Because it harnesses the power of the virtual environment, Veeam's solution isn't bound by the traditional restrictions of data protection and disaster recovery. This results in fast, flexible and reliable recovery for virtualized applications, data and services. Veeam Backup and Replication is the only solution which allows you to recover an entire VM or a single object from any application or file system from the same image level backup.

Veeam Managed Service

Our fully managed Veeam service allows you to replicate your virtual environment in our Tier 4 data centre using Veeam software. Your virtual environment is replicated to our shared cloud infrastructure. Should you have an IT disaster your users will simply log on to your replicated servers using our Citrix access gateway from any internet-connected computer, giving them access to systems within minutes of a disaster.

From a single server failure to the loss of your entire environment, our fully managed Veeam services are designed to have your business up and running again within minutes, and all for a low monthly fee.

Veeam Dedicated Service

Our dedicated Veeam service allows you to replicate your virtual servers to our Tier 4 data centre using Veeam software. Your virtual environment is replicated to your own dedicated hardware. In a disaster, this allows you two recovery options. You can either use remote access technology, such as Citrix to log on to the replicated servers or we can physically deliver your replica virtual environment back to your place of business.

From initial design, installation, configuration and on-going management, our Veeam services are designed so that you can protect your virtual environment quickly, efficiently and with minimal resources.

Veeam is suitable for totally virtual environments

Veeam is designed for customers who have a totally virtualised environment running on ESX, ESXi or Hyper-V. Veeam allows you to replicate your servers at Hypervisor level regardless of the operating system or applications you may be running.

Veeam allows for backup as well as replication, meaning that you can go back in time to retrieve a single file from your virtual server, while at the same time the replication ensures that your server images are always up to date and safe either offsite or on another virtual host.
