  • Legacy Data Protection is the process of managing and maintaining access to historic backup data stored on older systems – like tapes or discontinued software – while modernising your backup and recovery strategy. It ensures long-term compliance, reduces risk and simplifies your backup estate. 

  • Yes. We can retire your on-site tape libraries and migrate data to disk or cloud storage. But if retention policies mean tapes must be kept, we’ll manage off-site storage, retrieval and final destruction when appropriate. 

  • We handle the retrieval, restoration and secure delivery of data – even if systems have changed or been decommissioned. We can recover data to its original location or restore it “out of place” if needed. 

  • We support a wide range of legacy backup platforms and hardware, including Veritas NetBackup, IBM, HP Data Protector, Asigra, Arcserve, DellEMC and Veeam.
